We will be at both of the next Gloucester Block Parties, August 10th and 31st, all night until close. ALSO, we are hosting our very first ‘Bowling Night with the Democrats’ on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:30pm at Cape Ann Lanes. Come bowl a string, or have a pint in the Laneside Pub, while chatting with Democratic activists. Several candidates for office and delegates to the upcoming National Convention will be in attendance. It’s a totally free event, so come on down, you won’t want to miss it!

Block Party Time!
Come visit the Cape Ann Democrats at our booth at the second Gloucester Block Party of the Summer! This coming Saturday, August 10 from 6pm-10pm, [weather permitting] we’ll be hanging out on Main Street getting the word out on the Harris/Walz campaign! Give us your opinion on a Straw Poll, sign up to do outreach, write a postcard to a swing state (we’ll send it!), and enjoy riding the Blue Wave!

Eileen Duff Wins Elector Seat
Eileen Duff, current Governor’s Councilor and candidate for Register of Deeds (Southern Essex County) just after finding out she had been elected to the 2024 Massachusetts Electoral College at a meeting of the Democratic State Committee in Leominster, on Saturday, August 3rd.
Eileen joins ten other electors and two alternates on the Democratic slate of Electors. These electors will cast the Commonwealth’s OFFICAL ballots for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz (should that ticket win Massachusetts’ overall popular vote) at a meeting in Boston in December.
